This was a good discussion, and outcome for Trump, albeit from a small group of undecideds. Trump being a little more solemn helps him with independents. Toward the end of the 2016 race against Crooked Hillary, Trump closed the race by focusing hard on messaging, which helped him close the deal with late-deciders.

Trump appears to be starting early this time. As western communists intentionally destabilize the country, Trump brings the proper seriousness to the table. I love his sense of humor, but as someone who’s also extremely sarcastic, I know from experience that sarcasm can weaken the impact of your words.
